Day 01 :

Dar es Salaam to Nyerere – Scenic Drive & Rufiji River Boat Safari

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam. Set out on a scenic 5-hour drive to Nyerere National Park, passing through rural landscapes and local villages. En route, enjoy a lunch stop before continuing your journey. Upon arrival at Nyerere, check into your lodge and prepare for an exciting boat safari on the Rufiji River. Glide through the calm waters as you spot hippos, crocodiles and a variety of birdlife in their natural habitat. After the safari, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight rest.

Day 02 :

Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

Rise early for a full-day game drive through the vast landscapes of Nyerere National Park. With your expert guide leading the way, you will have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including members of the Big Five, elephants, lions and more! Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the heart of the bush, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. The adventure continues into the late afternoon before you return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Cultural Experience – Maasai Village Visit & Departure

After breakfast, take a cultural detour with a visit to a nearby Maasai village close to Nyerere National Park. Immerse yourself in the traditions of this iconic local community, known for its vibrant clothing, traditions and deep connection to the land. Participate in daily activities such as milking cows and traditional fire-making, and learn about their way of life through song, dance and storytelling. After the visit, begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam, filled with unforgettable memories of both wildlife and culture.
